Our commitment

At AKIO, a French publisher of BtoB software for the customer experience, we make Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) a lever for overall performance, innovation and trust. Our CSR policy is in line with our Carbon Footprint 2022 and is based on ISO 26000, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Diversity Charter, to actively contribute to sustainable development, respect for human rights and business ethics.

Responsible governance

Human rights, diversity and working conditions

  • Integration of CSR at the heart of our corporate strategy and decision-making processes.
  • Regular dialogue with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate and improve our practices.
  • Raising awareness and training executives, managers and teams in CSR issues and ethics.
  • Strict compliance with the principle of non-discrimination at all stages of professional life.
  • Promotion of equal opportunities and appreciation of the diversity of career paths, genders and nationalities.
  • Engagement with the Diversity Charter since 2008 and regular assessment of progress.
  • Active social dialogue and continuous improvement of working conditions and employee well-being.

Environment and digital sobriety 

Fair practices, combating hidden labour and corruption 

  • We have embarked on a low-carbon trajectory, following our first carbon audit.
  • Energy optimisation: choice of a responsible hosting provider, server virtualisation, optimisation of algorithms to reduce energy consumption.
  • Prioritising renewable energy for IT infrastructure.
  • Teleworking policy, limiting travel, offices accessible by public transport and sustainable development bonus.
  • Monitoring of environmental performance indicators and action plan to reduce and recycle waste (selective sorting, reconditioned equipment, equipment recycling).
  • Zero tolerance of undeclared work, child labour and any form of non-compliance with fundamental rights, including in the supply chain.
  • Implementation of an ethics charter and control procedures to prevent any form of corruption, fraud or conflict of interest.
  • Raising awareness among employees and partners about business ethics and compliance with applicable laws.

Customer relations, responsible purchasing and social impact

  • Development of software solutions that promote accessibility, security and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible purchasing policy: selection of suppliers committed to CSR, use of reconditioned equipment and short distribution channels.
  • Reducing the digital footprint: limiting the number of emails stored, optimising marketing campaigns, using reusable equipment at events.
  • Contribution to local economic development and involvement in solidarity initiatives.
  • Commitment to certification (AFNOR, Lucie 26000) and external assessment of our approach.
