EDF: EDF R&D and Akio together developed the first chat application for customer relationship on the French market: Akio Chat Center.
As EDF R&D were aware of Akio’s reputation for excellence in developing Web customer interaction management tools, it entrusted them with the co-development of an innovative prototype called “Chatline”, comprising a large number of features to meet the needs of call centres.
After experimenting successfully with the Akio MAil Center solution, EDF R&D wanted this prototype to be integrated into the Akio’s offer to deploy it, in the medium term, across all of its call centres. With this partnership, Akio is enhancing its Akio Interaction Center offer with innovative features from Chatline.
Orange: Akio and Orange have been partners since 2002 to expand the range of services provided to France Télécom customers by offering them a unified customer interaction management offer in SaaS mode.
In the context of this agreement, Orange’s Research and Development department became Orange Labs and was contacted to assist Akio with the technical and functional validations of its solutions. Once the validation phases were complete Akio then provided its solutions to all of its customers.
This partnership guarantees all Akio customers a technically reliable and high performing solution.
